Prac war vs DoW

It's stinking hot on a weekday night. You've got a war coming up, and you're sweating your ass off. You grab a beer, load up HLSW, and get ready for the big game. Atleast, that's what I did. We tried our mettle on the mighty DoW tonight, and I dare say we put up a good fight! We played really well as aliens, if not a bit greenish. Myself or John probably should've piked up on DoW's tactics, but with more experience hopefully things like that will smooth out. Kudos to FixXeR for a rockin' war, and my apologies for wasting everyones time with my 4 pc crashes. In the end, it came out as a draw, although on time DoW did beat us quite considerably. Still, we can hold our heads up high, especially the trialers who did impress me and John. We got a war with D tomorrow night, so I expect you to all be on :P

Well we've pulled the plug on the GA Ladder. I can't say I'm too disappointed, as I was a bit hesitant in signing up in the first place. It seems all our dialupers will have to bigger issues playing over there, so there's no point. Hopefully this WA-NS Ladder will go up soon and provide a bit of incentive for the community!
On a brighter note, we have two new trialiers: MerliN (aka Steve) and Mental (aka Tom?). Make them feel welcome, or not, it really doesn't matter much. As long as they torture innocent little animals and perform other equally evil deeds like that, they should fit in just fine. Best of luck, I'll get a war crankin to test you two out soon!

Wow...almost a month since the last post! Then again, when you do everything over mIRC I guess it doesn't matter much. Still, best post to show the world we're still alive. To prove that we're well and truly still kicking, I've signed us up for the GameArena Ladder. I'll need you all to make accounts and pm me the details on mIRC. Also, Nightfire has expressed his interest in beginning a WA-NS Ladder/League/Thing of some sort, which will more than likely begin after exams are over. The final will be at WestLan which should be good. Anyway, get those GA accounts up and give em to me so you can be added! Over and out.
P.S. Check this page more, I might start posting important shit on here again.

Yes yes I know I probably should update this news more often, but we're all mIRC bumbs so it really don't matter :P Still, we have a new trialee, Seth. I was at first happy with who we had, but John provided a rather convicing argument for Seth (it's really not that hard to make me change my mind, just offer me lollies) and I've decided to give him a go. I hope you're evil enough for us! Good luck.
Also, I'm gonna redo the members bit. I always get carried away with shit like that, I'm gonna make it alot simpler, with less questions. That is all!
First war...

Well, we were supposed to war Si tonight, but that didn't happen. So, on short notice, I sold my body to Red-Dragon as incentive and we decided to tackle big guns RoE in our first engagement. And wow...first war in a bloody long time (since WA like 6 months ago), and fuck it was good! All the action and adrenaline you'd expect in a public game, packed into one 30 minute game and multiplied a hundred times over. Loved it!
We played real well guys, very proud of my boyz ;) Was close at the end, but Enth forgot to shower this morning I think, so Trev used his superior nasal power to find his hidey hole before we ran out of time. Excellent work by all concerned. Not bad for a first effort. Close win by 20 seconds. In future wars with RoE, we really needa remember that Reds a lerk spamming shitcunt (I still love ya Sam)!
Cheers for the game RoE. Bit short notice, for that I apologise, but I'm really glad we did it. Great crash course for our young clan, and with a DoW war next week hopefully, maybe we can make our presence felt in the WANS community. Again, good game RoE. Killer opposition, definitely gotta get some more pracs happenin!
Prac war with Si

Couple of things to mention fellas: first off, we've got a prac war with Si this Thursday. Put your name in the private channel topic (one more player needed, and a few reserves would be nice!). Not sure what the map is, but it'll be at 8.30 on EFTel. Secondly, we have lost and gained a member. Chas (PhantoM) has left the clan after a clash of personalities with a few members. Best of luck, enjoy the noob bashing ;) Our newest recruit Mech. (Trev), will receive for cautioning for mistreatment of the almight '.'. Who uses THE DOT at the end of their name, seriously? You've been warned Trev!!
I'll sort out the rest of the details for the friendly with Recoil, and then we can get on to some proper warring. Also, trying to line-up a prac war with RoE for probably the week after next. PM me on mIRC with what days good for you ;)
New Trialee and 2.0

Well, it's been a while, but I decided to plonk my lazy behind in front of the PC and conjure up a new post. Couldn't have been better timing either! 2.0 is dominating the servers (impossible to get on EFTel!), and a few of the older, better players are returning to kick some ass. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on the servers. Speaking of players, John (exar) reeled in a great catch this arvo. Nocturna, the uber commander we so desperately needed, has decided, after much pushing and prodding (and mind tricks...^_^) to join our evil family. Such a timely addition to our clan. With the coming of 2.0, I'm definitely gonna get some wars happening. Time to establish ourselves I think!

After watching T2: Judgement Day Ultimate DVD Edition and Top Gun today, I've decided to add a few more lines to the personal info section; Saddest ending for a movie ever and Saddest scene in a movie ever, Favourite Baddy and Favourite Good Guy. To me, watching Arny get dropped into the liquid steel after working the T1000 was heart braking (watching Robert Patrick die was moving as well)! Definitely the most moving ending to a movie in history :P As for Top Gun, well, who didn't love Goose? When he died...well let's just say I don't cry during movies (and I didn't there) but that's about as close as I've ever come!

Blergh!
Let me officially announce for myself that this site cranks! Sorry to all members for my seeming inactivity - working full time has its effects on life. 6:20AM is get up time, and 5:30pm is get home time. Combine this with weekends away and other stuff to do, time for games becomes limited. Especially being involved in other HL mods like CS and DoD.
Anyways, I hope to make this NS LAN on the 2nd, and let's hope all have a great time!
